The airline expects increased tourism activities and is revising its flight program. This summer, the carrier plans to serve almost 200 destinations worldwide, including more than 110 in France, Europe and North Africa.

The CoV situation is becoming increasingly stable. The French authorities feel this and are taking back some restrictions as a result, which in turn plays into the airline's cards. In addition to the usual flight schedule, Air France will operate a total of 81 routes, including 23 new routes, on the short- and medium-haul network this summer. In addition, there will be around 40 domestic flights, mainly departing from the capital Paris and the French regions.

Airplanes are being brought back from the warehouse

In order to be able to serve the increased number of routes, Air France will use a total of 181 aircraft. To this end, they are currently working meticulously to bring ten more medium-haul and twelve long-haul aircraft out of "Corona hibernation" and reactivate them.

Overall and compared to summer 2019, the airline will increase its capacities to Portugal by almost 25 percent, and to Greece it will be almost 80 percent. On the long haul, passengers can expect the popular Caribbean destinations of Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe, Fort-de-France in Martinique and Saint-Denis de la Réunion.
