Mumbai – San Francisco non-stop: Air India launched a new North Pacific route on Thursday with Flight 179. Passengers and crew traveled 15 hours and 48 minutes. Air India plans to offer the first non-stop flight between Mumbai and San Francisco three times a week with immediate effect. The airline uses Boeing 777-200LR on the route, on Thursday the VT-AEF. The aircraft was in service with Delta Air Lines on Pacific routes until 2021 and was earmarked for a freighter conversion after the end of service. This is reported by the aviation portal Aero.
