Air Moldova only had a non-stop connection between Chisinau and Leipzig/Halle in August last year recorded. This has since been abandoned.
The reasons for the suspension of flights between Saxony and the capital of the Republic of Moldova are different. Due to the fact that the government repeatedly bans civil flights for security reasons, other airlines have already withdrawn from this country - at least for the time being. Demand is currently low as Moldova feels threatened by Russia and some airlines have security concerns.
