Air Serbia starts flights to Cairo

Air Serbia plans to resume flights between Belgrade and Cairo after a three-year hiatus.

The flights between the two capitals will start on May 15, 2023, the Serbian airline's planes are scheduled to take off three times a week in the direction of Cairo, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Belgrade and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from Cairo. An Airbus A319 is used. Air Serbia has no direct competition on this route. Egypt Air operates a codeshare partnership with Aegean Airlines between Athens and Belgrade, while its subsidiary Air Cairo operates scheduled flights between Hurghada and Belgrade throughout the year.
