Air Vanuatu: Boeing 737 stuck in Australia

Air Vanuatu's flight from Brisbane to Port Vila was canceled after it was discovered that Air Vanuatu's Boeing 737 had experienced a technical problem. The only jet of the national airline of Vanuatu has to stay on Australian soil. The reason for this is the procurement of a spare part, which is currently not possible.

The Boeing 737 with the registration YJ-AV8 was scheduled to carry out the flight from its origin in Brisbane to its own seat in Port Vila on March 31. The discovery of a technical complication forced the airline to cancel the flight. The start of the Boeing 737 is not possible and the procurement of spare parts is currently not possible. This results in the grounding of the plane in Australia, the Boeing 737 has to remain in Australia until the problem can be solved.
