The airline airBaltic recently published its results for the first nine months of this year. These figures are at a very high level, after record-breaking figures were also achieved in the half-year results.

The Latvian airline airBaltic has had an extremely successful 2023 so far. This is now reflected in the nine-month financial results that the company has proudly published. Sales increased by around 40 percent and total sales after nine months amounted to 510,6 million euros. The EBITDAR key figure also shows a positive development: it has increased by 74 million euros compared to the previous year and now amounts to 129,5 million euros. Pleasing figures can also be recorded in terms of net profit: the airline generated a profit of 9,1 million euros. In the previous year, however, the net profit was negative and amounted to -125 million euros. An important factor for these developments is the increase in demand, which has a positive impact on passenger volumes. The Latvian airline recorded passenger traffic of 3,4 million passengers, an increase of 41 percent compared to the previous year.
