Airbus A350: Emirates expects delivery delays

Advertising

Emirates will take delivery of its first Airbus A350 later than originally announced. The aircraft manufacturer will not deliver the first plane to the airline until August 2024.

Deliveries of the jets will not arrive until August 2024, Emirates operations chief Adel Al Redha told the newspaper "Emarat Al Youm". Emirates should receive its first of 50 A350 jets in May 2023, as the airline announced when the order was announced at the end of 2019. The Gulf carrier is affected by delays in all new series. Emirates also does not expect the 30 787-9s ordered from Boeing until 2024, reuters.com reports.
