On November 18, 2022, the "Beluga XL" with the registration F-GXLN went off the runway after a cargo flight from Saint Nazaire to Albert Picardie. The pilots of the Airbus A330-743L missed the turning point and got into the meadow.

According to Airbus, the incident is said to have occurred at very low speed. Neither the aircraft nor the crew are said to have been damaged. However, there are delays in production due to just-in-time logistics. The aircraft manufacturer explained that efforts are being made to keep the effects as low as possible.

Tools and transport aids are said to have been on board the Belgua XL. The towing of this large transport aircraft turned out to be correspondingly difficult, but could be managed with the help of the fire brigade.
