It was actually supposed to be a routine flight from Houston to Cabo San Lucas, but things turned out very differently even before takeoff. The captain even threatened that he would not take off at all and would ask the security authorities on board. Reason: Nude photos were distributed via AirDrop.

AirDrop is an Apple service that also enables large-scale distribution of files via wireless LAN. This is exactly what previously unknown perpetrators did and caused a lot of unrest on the Southwest plane with the porn photos they sent. A flight attendant was made aware of this before take-off. She informed her manager.

In his announcement, the captain made no secret of the fact that he doesn't even know what AirDrop is, but his words were clear: either the sending of nude photos will stop immediately or the machine will return to the gate, security forces will come on board and the holidays are over then ruined.

“The safety and well-being of customers and employees is a top priority for the Southwest team at all times. When we are made aware of a potential issue, our staff will address the issues to ensure traveler comfort," Southwest Airlines said in a statement.
