Airport Association ADV offers dialogue to “last generation”

The airport association ADV has made an offer of talks to the climate protection movement “Last Generation” in an open letter.

The reason for this is the group's repeated disruptive actions at German airports. The ADV's managing director stressed in the letter that climate change is a serious challenge that must be solved through dialogue and cooperation, not through criminal actions such as blocking runways. The ADV proposes holding a meeting to discuss climate policy and CO2 reduction measures in air traffic as well as the safety-related impacts of the "Last Generation" actions.
