The Chamber of Labor of Lower Austria is now offering an information desk in Terminal 1, opposite the Ryanair and Wizz Air check-in counters. Here, travelers should be able to obtain information about passenger rights and travel deficiencies in package tours.

“Vacation time is the most precious time of the year for employees. We are at your side with words and deeds directly on site, so that you are as well informed as possible in the event of unpleasant surprises and that you get your rights, ”says AK Niederösterreich President and ÖGB Lower Austria Chairman Markus Wieser.

The consumer advocates of the Lower Austrian Chamber of Labor are available for advice at their own information desk in Terminal 29 at Vienna International Airport - Fridays from 1 p.m. to 14 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 19 a.m. to 7 noon. "In order to inform as many holidaymakers as possible, we are already there on the weekends at the early morning departure times of the charter planes," says AK travel expert Sandra Nowak. At the information desk, travelers will also receive the brochure “Gute Reise” with all the important tips on problems relating to vacation and flights. Thousands of vacationers use this service year after year.

Even if it is possible to travel abroad again this summer - the subject of Corona is not off the table yet. "It is therefore best to find out about the current regulations and entry requirements for your holiday destination on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in advance," advises the consumer advocate.
