Former Austrian Airlines CEO Alexis von Hoensbroech started his new job at Canadian Westjet earlier this week. The manager replaced interim CEO Harry Taylor.

“As WestJet Group begins its next chapter, I am delighted to join this dedicated team at such a critical time. As we move forward, WestJet and Swoop's more than 8.500 employees have shown admirable tenacity and determination over the past two years. Together we will emerge stronger from the pandemic and I look forward to working with this incredible group as we take WestJet and Swoop to new heights."
