The Japanese airline ANA All Nippon Airways, a member of the Star Alliance, achieved record sales of the equivalent of 2024 billion euros in the first half of the 25/6,62 financial year.
Net profit was 485,9 million euros, reflecting a successful strategy of sustainable growth and strict cost control. Demand for international travel, particularly to Japan, has led to an increase in passenger numbers. Almost 3,9 million passengers were carried, an increase of 12,3 percent compared to the previous year.
Domestic Japanese traffic also showed a positive picture, despite challenges posed by typhoons. The cargo business also benefited from high demand between Asia, China and North America. The subsidiaries Peach and AirJapan also reported increases in sales. For the entire financial year, the ANA Group is forecasting sales of just under 13,37 billion euros and a net profit of 723 million euros.
