The Airbus A319, registration, N756US, operated by American Airlines, had to abort a flight to Albuquerque and return to Phoenix. The reason for this decision is the detection of an insufficient amount of oil in one of the engines.

On March 12, 2023, a small amount of oil was found in one of the engines on flight AA2562 from Phoenix to Albuquerque, as reported by The Aviation Herald, among others. This resulted in the mandatory order to abort the flight and return to the place of departure Phoenix. The landing went without complications, but one engine had to be shut down on the return flight.
