From May 1, 2021, American Airlines will be serving drinks again on domestic flights. Initially, however, economy class should not be affected. All travelers will not be offered drinks again until June 1, 2021.

About a year ago, the US airline drastically reduced cabin service due to the corona pandemic. In consultation with the cabin crew and taking into account the recommendations of health experts, it has now been decided that the beverage service will be reactivated gradually.

Non-alcoholic drinks are offered free of charge. The purchase of alcohol and snacks will not be reactivated until the summer of 2021. American Airlines does not want to give an exact date for this yet and points out that this is made dependent on the further development of the corona pandemic.
