The Royal Schiphol Group, which includes Amsterdam Airport, will have a new managing director effective November 1, 2022. Ruud Sondag was appointed interim CEO by the Board of Directors.

The background is that Dick Benschop due to the chaotic conditions at the largest airport in the Netherlands has resigned. He will continue in office until a successor is appointed. The transfer will take place on November 1, 2022. However, Sondag has only been appointed provisionally, as the selection process for the permanent successor is currently in progress.

The Royal Schiphol Group is now to be managed by him on an interim basis. Robert Carsouw is CFO. Hanne Buis has been appointed Chief Operating Manager. The Supervisory Board wants to decide on the final replacement of the management team as quickly as possible. But for this you still need some time.
