From October 11th, Japan is back easily accessible: The land of the rising sun can then again be visited by travelers from Germany and Austria for tourist purposes without having to book the trip through a tour operator or as part of a guided tour. The Japanese ANA is reacting to this and is expanding the current range of flights again as of October 30 of this year.

Then it will again be possible to fly to Japan twice a day from or via Frankfurt. With its service from Rhein-Main Airport to Tokyo's Haneda Airport, which is close to the city, the airline is now back to the pre-crisis level. From the end of October, ANA passengers will again be able to choose between a late morning (departure: 12.10:20.45) and an evening (departure: 787:XNUMX) flight every day of the week. A Boeing XNUMX is used.

In September, the Japanese market leader on its international route network currently has 35 percent of the flight offer planned before the pandemic on sale: Originally, more than 5.300 flight connections on 75 routes were planned. Around 1.850 flights are currently planned on 40 routes. This rate increases by one percentage point to 37 percent for the month of October and to 39 percent for November.

Visas will no longer be required to enter Japan for stays of up to 90 days from October 11. All eligible passengers entering Japan with a valid Covid-19 vaccination certificate are also no longer required to show a negative test result. Travelers who do not meet the vaccination requirements must still present a negative CoV test before departure. This makes it possible to travel to Japan again after a break of more than two years.
