The airline is now expanding its offering as part of the “SAF Flight Initiative” to business trips by its corporate partners.

Launched in October 2021, the program aims to increase the proportion of sustainable aviation fuels and thus reduce emissions associated with business travel. The program was originally only developed for the freight sector.

“Since the launch of the 'SAF Flight Initiative' for cargo in October last year, the response both in Japan and abroad has been much greater than we expected. With the urgent need to act on climate change, I believe that environmental awareness in the corporate world will only increase in the future,” said Shinichi Inoue, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing. "Let's work together to create a sustainable society and pass the blue skies on to the next generation."
