The launch of the new bi-weekly connection from Izmir to Belgrade has been delayed.

The flights, scheduled a month ago, were originally scheduled to commence on February 16, 2023. However, the airline, a virtual low-cost brand of Turkish Airlines, has now postponed the start of the route to April 13, 2023 to coincide with Air Serbia's first flight on this route on April 15, 2023. The two airlines are codeshare partners and are working on a joint venture agreement. As the Serbian carrier announced last week, Izmir is one of the best-selling new routes in the coming summer months, with a number of flights already sold out. This is reported by Ex-Yu-Aviation.
