The German flight attendant union UFO formed a new management team. The background is that chairman Daniel Flohr and Louisa Collenberg resigned at the end of January 2021. The two are followed by Anja Bronstert, purser at Germanwings, and Wolfgang Heriban, flight attendant at Lufthansa CityLine.

Bronstert takes the chair and explains: "I am looking forward to the exciting tasks ahead and I am sure that I will be able to use my in-depth knowledge in the field of collective bargaining profitably for UFO".

Heriban is not a newcomer within the UFO, but was on the union's executive committee between 2008 and 2012. For two years he was also chairman of the employee representatives. In a broadcast of the UFO it can be read that he would have acted as a conflict solver during his first term in office. "After many years of voluntary work at Augsburg Airways and in the CityLine tariff commission, I am looking to the next few weeks and months with confidence," says Heriban.

As soon as possible, the UFO union wants to ask the members to elect a new board. Until then, Bronstert and Heriban will hold their new offices on an interim basis.
