Annual figures: Frankfurt-Hahn with 1,7 million passengers

In the recently completed year 2023, Frankfurt-Hahn Airport had around 1,7 million passengers. This meant an increase of around 21 percent compared to the previous period.

The airport had a difficult time, as it also had to file for bankruptcy following the collapse of the Chinese HNA Group. The subsequent buyer did not pay the purchase price, so the insolvency administrator had to re-tender the sale. This regional airport has been owned and operated by the Triwo group of companies since spring 2023.

According to the announcement, the destinations Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Tirana, Dublin and Skopje were particularly in demand last year. The management is confident for the current year 2024 and expects growth.
