April 2023: Zurich reaches 90 percent of the pre-crisis volume

At 136 passengers, the average number of passengers per flight was 11% higher than in the previous year. Seat occupancy increased by 6 percentage points to 81% in the month under review compared to the same month last year.

A total of 31.706 tonnes of freight were handled at Zurich Airport in April. This corresponds to a decrease of 14% compared to the same month last year. Compared to April 2019, 15% less freight was handled.
