A Nigerian court has issued an arrest warrant for Jacky Ramesh Hathiramani, the former managing director of the defunct Dana Air, after Hathiramani failed to appear in court on several occasions to answer allegations of financial crimes amounting to NGN 1,37 billion (about USD 825.000).

The case concerns alleged fraud and abusive financial transactions between 2014 and 2018. The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has meanwhile confirmed that Dana Air's operating license remains valid until 2027, although the airline ceased operations in 2023.
