Now he is calling on the AUA board of directors around Alexis von Hoensbroech to repay the bonuses paid out at the end of July 2020 for the year 2019.

Compared to the Courier said the government member that the AUA board took the view that the payment would be legally correct, but Blümel: “Morally, the action is a punch in the pit of the stomach”. Now he demands immediate repayment.

“Taking state aid for the company, having employees on short-time work and at the same time paying out bonuses as a board member is completely unacceptable. I expect the board of directors to repay the bonus immediately, ”said Blümel to the Austrian daily newspaper.
