Shortly before the start of the summer holidays in some federal states of Austria, the AUA announced the resumption of further holiday destinations.

The Austrian Lufthansa subsidiary Austrian Airlines will add further holiday destinations in July 2020. Palma de Mallorca, which is otherwise only served by Ryanair, flies once a week as a charter connection. Vienna-Zadar will also be offered again shortly.

In addition, Austrian Airlines is doubling the number of flights to Dubrovnik and Split to up to six connections per week. From July there will also be daily trips to Thessaloniki (instead of four times a week). Nice will be increased from four to five weekly flights. There are also flights to Karpathos, Kos, Rhodes, Santorin and Zakynthos, among others. "By lifting many intra-European travel restrictions, most recently for Spain for example, we can expand our offer accordingly," said Austrian Airlines CCO Andreas Otto. “Of course, the respective local safety regulations still have to be observed, for example when it comes to wearing masks. Otherwise nothing stands in the way of a summer vacation on the beach. "
