Austrian Airlines will have to dress even warmer in the coming winter.

Due to the weak demand, the Lufthansa subsidiary had to trim the winter flight schedule. Zagreb Airport, among others, is directly affected. Because on October 16, the airline will initially operate the last flight between the two capitals.

Only to hand over the baton to Star Alliance colleague Croatia Airlines a few days later. In the meantime, the flag carrier of Croatia had to cease flight operations, and on October 22nd the planes will take off again for the Alpine republic. Despite Corona, the AUA will stop by for a moment: From December 18 to January 6, the route will be used for a short time - for the sake of Christmas business. After that, it should really be over, at least until March next year.

Unlike Zagreb, however, other Balkan countries have made it into the heavily reduced winter flight schedule. Including Belgrade, Podgorica, Pristina and Skopje.

Croatia Airlines was given a Dash8 in Star Allianz colors, which doesn't even need to be repainted.
One thing is not understandable, on the one hand, Austrian complains about insufficient occupancy, on the other hand, they neglect Linz, for example, where there is definitely enough demand for flights to Düsseldorf, and in times like these you can also offer a rotation to Frankfurt and Berlin, with it the plane doesn't stand around all day.
This page is relatively new, in order not to present monologues here alone, I have to somehow draw the attention of forists from other portals to the page.
Otherwise your appearance was very successful and not littered with as much intrusive advertising as other portals, you are doing a great job and wish you every success for the future. LG Altmetallflieger
