Auction: parts of two ex-Lufthansa B707 under the hammer

In Germany, individual parts of two Boeing 707s that previously had the Lufthansa colors are going under the hammer. These are the former D-ABOD and D-ABOC. The auction is carried out by the Dechow auction house.

The D-ABOD is the Boeing 707 that was parked in Hamburg and was sent to be scrapped under great protest by aviation enthusiasts. The other machine is the one that stood around on the grounds of Berlin-Tegel Airport for decades. This was never used by Lufthansa and in connection with this machine the registration is fictitious, because it was never officially given to this Boeing 707. It was a gift from Boeing that the crane actually didn't want.

Parts of both machines can be acquired as part of the auction, which is being carried out by Dechow. The auction starts on Friday, September 24th, 2021 and ends on October 24th, 2021 around 15 p.m.
