In August 2021, the Wizz Air Group had 3.581.788 passengers on board with a load factor of 83,6 percent. This means that around 28 percent more travelers were on board compared to the same month last year. The load factor increased by 13 percentage points.

For comparison: In August 2019, i.e. before the corona pandemic, 3.881.750 travelers used the Wizz AIr flight connections. The occupancy rate at that time was 95,6 percent. The carrier was thus 2020 percent below the pre-crisis level in August 7,3. It remains to be seen whether the lowcoster will manage to keep the strong numbers over the autumn and winter.
