Last month the Latvian airline welcomed exactly 280.800 passengers on board - 104 percent more than in the same period of the previous year and 34 percent more than in July 2021. In August 2021, Air Baltic operated 3.070 flights.

“We see from month to month that the demand for travel continues to grow. With the help of relaxed travel restrictions and attractive leisure destinations, we have shown a strong performance this summer. Since the new route to Tenerife has already started and the one to Dubai is getting closer at the end of September, we hope that the trend of high passenger demand will continue in the coming winter season, ”said airline boss Martin Gauss.
