The Nigerian airline Dana Air had to cease flight operations from October 22 to 24, 2020 due to an official curfew. However, the background to the order was not the corona virus, but protests escalated and many deaths occurred.

Dana Air operates a fleet of seven aircraft. The average age is just over 28 years. The carrier has two Boeing 737-300s, one McDonnell Douglas MD-82 and four MD-83. In the past, the local aviation authority repeatedly issued a flight ban due to safety deficiencies - most recently in 2014.

With such a modern fleet in Africa you should consider getting on a plane like this, as it will often be hotter than with old cars. "Refill oil and check gasoline"
