The first Airbus A320neo from Austrian Airlines is expected to enter active scheduled service on October 19, 2022. A few days ago you officially taken over by the OE-LZN and preparations for the first commercial use are currently in full swing.

The Austrian Lufthansa subsidiary will take delivery of another Airbus A320neo this year. This will be formally adopted in the coming weeks. Two more copies are expected for spring 2023. As things stand today, the first A320neo flight will take place between Vienna and London Heathrow, a spokeswoman confirmed to Aviation.Direct. However, she added that this is subject to change.

Available flight plan data shows that this type of aircraft will initially be used in the direction of London Heathrow and Berlin-Brandenburg from October 19, 2022. In the direction of Frankfurt am Main, the pattern is currently scheduled for January 22 and 29, 2023 and February 5, 2023. It should go to Amsterdam on February 12, 2023. However, this should still be treated with caution, as there may be short-term changes to the aircraft at any time.
