Austrian Airlines: contract extension for Michael Trestl

Michael Trestl, Chief Commercial Officer of Austrian Airlines, received an early contract extension until December 31, 2028 from the Supervisory Board. The Lower Austrian has been a member of the board of directors since January 2021.

Furthermore, Annette Mann as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Francesco Sciortino as Chief Operations Officer (COO) belong to the top management of AUA. "As CCO, Michael Trestl took over commercial responsibility for Austrian Airlines in the middle of the Corona Pandemic. With his strategic expertise and his ability to work in a team, he made a significant contribution to steering the airline well through the crisis and then enabling an upswing again," says Christina Foerster, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Austrian Airlines AG, on the reappointment.
