After wage increases were agreed for the flying staff of Austrian Airlines, there is also a KV qualification for commercial and technical employees. Due to a regular works meeting, around 40 flights had to be canceled on Thursday and a few more were delayed.

With effect from January 1, 2023, part of the savings package will also be taken back for the AUA ground staff. The wage cuts will finally end on June 1, 2023 and in 2024 there will be an increase of seven percent. An increase of 2025 percent was agreed for 5,4. The increase is much higher for apprentices. Depending on the professional group, the compensation increases by up to 40 percent.

On Thursday, the commercial and technical AUA employees were informed about the current status of things by the employee representatives at a works meeting. Previously it had one on Wednesday Agreement given with the flying staff. These should also get more money in the future.
