The Embraer 195 with the registration OE-LWD was recently given the current colors of Austrian Airlines. It is the first member of the regional jet fleet to appear in this livery.

The current paintwork was felt in about four years ago. So far no Embraer 195 wore this color dress. That has now changed, because at the beginning of February 2022 the OE-LWD was repainted in Bratislava, Slovakia. The Austrian lettering is now much larger. The red color on the tail unit now runs all the way down to the fuselage.

Particularly striking: so far, the engines were mostly red. The current livery includes white engines. This is now standard within the Lufthansa Group, because it is intended to simplify the "passing on" of aircraft and engines, since there is no need to repaint them in the livery of the respective operator. By the way: Of course, the OE-LWD was also freed from the "my" in front of the Austrian. A few years ago they appeared as "myAustrian" for a short time, but the advertising campaign, which had earned them quite a bit of ridicule, was quickly ended.
