The winter flight schedule of Austrian Airlines is "ready for take-off" with over 80 destinations.

Keflavik in Iceland will be served for the first time in the winter flight schedule between 11 January and 25 March and with Tromsø in Norway there will be another new destination in the Austrian scheduled route network between mid-December and the end of March 2023. Both destinations are ideal starting points for marveling at the natural spectacle of the Northern Lights and are served directly from Vienna by Austrian in the winter flight schedule. For those who prefer to spend their vacation in the desert sun, the "Pearl of the South" is the right choice. Austrian has Marrakech resumed in the winter timetable and is the only airline to offer non-stop flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

¡Hola! Mexico – Long-haul routes from the Vienna hub further expanded

In addition to two airports in New York, Washington and Chicago Austrian Airlines flies directly to again Cancún on the Mexican Caribbean coast. Thanks to white sandy beaches, fascinating sights and culinary highlights, the Mexican metropolis was the most popular hot-water destination in the 2021/22 winter flight schedule. In addition, Austrian not only flies daily Bangkok, but also brings sun-seeking vacationers back Male in the Maldives and after Mauritius.

“The extremely pleasingly good booking situation in summer gave us plenty of momentum. The great demand for holiday flights also continues in autumn and winter. This is why we will be flying to the long-haul tourist destinations in the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean much earlier in the winter flight schedule this year than in previous years, namely from October 17,” says Austrian Airlines CCO Michael Trestl.
