From October 1.10.2022, XNUMX, Austrian Airlines will fly twice a week between Vienna and Marrakech.

With the renewed Austrian connection, Marrakech can again be reached directly from Austria from autumn. Pleasantly mild and dry temperatures make the Moroccan royal city at the foot of the Atlas an ideal destination for a weekend trip in autumn. The Lufthansa subsidiary operated the Vienna-Marrakech route for the first time in 2006. The route had to be temporarily suspended due to the corona pandemic. “Marrakech perfectly rounds off the range of holiday destinations on short and medium-haul routes and offers our guests a well-deserved break in the winter months. We are thus continuously expanding our route network and thereby strengthening the function of Austrian as a home carrier at Vienna Airport,” says Austrian CCO Michael Trestl.
