For a few weeks now, Austrian Airlines has been offering passengers without Miles&More status or a business class ticket the option to book the security fast lane at Vienna International Airport for a fee. This can now be booked during web check-in.

Similar to the lounge access, which has been bookable for a long time, the use of the security fast lane is now also offered during online check-in. The extra product, which low costers in Vienna-Schwechat have been offering for a long time, costs nine euros per person.

"Austrian Airlines has been offering this service on flights from Vienna since February 2022 and can be booked at web check-in," explains an AUA spokesman to Aviation.Direct.

This service seems to have room for improvement.
in any case, it only worked for two travelers with one ticket
    not with my wife....not funny

The offer is not well thought out. As a frequent traveler you are not allowed to buy the “Fastlane”, but someone without status is. I just had the case. That doesn't make any sense at all.
