Austrian Airlines will temporarily increase its flight schedule around Christmas and New Years and will also be flying to some destinations that are temporarily suspended. However, for some goals it remains a short comeback.
According to reports, hot water destinations are in high demand on the long haul between Christmas and New Year. In general, many airlines expect more travelers to be on the road during this period, but are extremely cautious about the period after January 10, 2021. In the reservation systems industry-wide - with a few exceptions - heavily reduced frequencies are then imported and some destinations are paused again.
