The aviation division of the Austrian Armed Forces is currently looking for new recruits. According to the Ministry of Defense, pilots, technicians, pilots, meteorologists and many other professional groups are wanted.

At the same time, the job in the Armed Forces is being advertised with a new website and an advertising campaign that includes posters, online banners and cinema spots, for example. With the help of videos and 360-degree panorama details, the aim is to provide as much information as possible about the individual fields of activity on the web.

"In the videos and information, only soldiers and civilian employees who work in these areas of responsibility of the army have their say. Our core message for the population is therefore also authentic, empathetic and competent. We know best what makes our job in the Austrian Air Force special, where we can develop personally and what advantages our job brings,” explains helicopter pilot Captain Eva Berginc on the concept behind the army’s public relations work.

"One thing is clear these days: Austria must be prepared more than ever for the safety of our airspace in the future, and we are currently showing this with our campaign. And Airpower 22 on September 2nd and 3rd will also give us the opportunity to show what we need to protect Austrian airspace and for domestic and foreign missions!” says Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner.
