Azerbaijan Airlines celebrates first flight Baku-Vienna

The start of a non-stop connection between Baku and Vienna operated by Azerbaijan Airlines had been announced for some time. On Wednesday, May 2, 2023, the time had come, because the first flight was carried out with an Airbus A319.

The flight connection is operated every Tuesday and Friday. The flight time between Vienna and Baku is about three and a half hours. Azerbaijan's capital, Baku, is located directly on the Caspian Sea and offers modern city flair and a medieval, fortified old town. The historic center is easy to explore on a city trip.
