The Balearic Government has now taken tough measures to prevent parties and binge drinking. Since the seven-day incidence is now around 350, the aim is to eradicate the tourist season.

Among other things, gatherings of people from different households both indoors and outdoors are prohibited between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. During this period you are only allowed to stay with people with whom you live in the same household or who have checked into the hotel together.

Parties and drinking bouts will be completely prohibited in the future. Failure to comply can result in fines of 1.000 euros. If you have been quarantined, 2.000 euros are due and in the case of a positive test, even 5.000 euros are paid. Local operators can be asked to pay up to 100.000 euros.

The curfew of the catering trade has been brought forward to 1:00 a.m. A maximum of four people can sit inside each table. There are eight guests outside. The beaches are also not allowed to be used between 22 p.m. and 00 a.m.
