Barbados makes entry easier for those who have not been vaccinated: Anyone who has not been vaccinated against the coronavirus will in future have to present a negative test result and be tested again for the virus upon arrival in the Caribbean country.

Previously, unvaccinated travelers were obliged to go into a three-day quarantine after entering the country. Unvaccinated persons can present either a negative antigen test or a PCR test result upon entry. The test must have been taken no more than three days prior to arrival in Barbados. Further testing upon arrival in Barbados will be performed as an antigen test. If the result is negative, quarantine is no longer due. Unvaccinated travelers must also present a negative corona test result for transit.

Vaccinated holidaymakers do not need a test certificate to enter Barbados. There is also no quarantine required. For the trip, the vaccination schedule must be completed 14 days before arrival in the Caribbean country, as Check24 reports. Both unvaccinated and vaccinated travelers must also fill out the entry form at least 24 hours before travel.
