Base checks: Flyr has Lufthansa Technik waiting

Advertising

The Norwegian low-cost airline Flyr will in future have the so-called base maintenance carried out by Lufthansa Technik. In this context, the two companies have entered into a three-year contract.

Lufthansa Technik AG provides extensive base maintenance services for Boeing 737 Max 8 and 737-800 aircraft for the Norwegian airline Flyr AS. From January, Lufthansa Technik Budapest will carry out the scheduled base checks on the fleet of the start-up airline.

"Lufthansa Technik supported us with the component service and has been a reliable partner since we started in 2021," says Magnus Wannebo, Technical Director at Flyr. "We are very confident that the good support and cooperation will continue as the first overhaul work begins."
