Basel: Easyjet takes on Venice and Chania

The airline Easyjet is adding two additional seasonal routes from Basel. These are Venice and Chania. Flights to the Italian city are scheduled to begin on May 22, 2022.

The carrier intends to offer Venice from Basel on Thursdays and Sundays until October 27, 2022. It goes to Crete between July 1st and September 2nd, 2022. Chania should be served on Fridays.

In Switzerland, the orange low-cost airline operates an airline under the name Easyjet Switzerland, which has its own certificates. The company headquarters are in Geneva. The Swiss fleet currently consists of three Airbus A319, 22 A320 and four A320neo.
