Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport can continue on the road to success: Both June and the first half of the year can set new records with significant figures in terms of passenger traffic.

Nikola Tesla Airport has already been able to convince with figures from the past few months. But the airport's series of successes in terms of passenger numbers continues: June, but also the first half of the year in general, can underpin the success of the Serbian airport with record numbers. The airport was able to call 747.837 passengers in June, which corresponds to an increase of almost 40 percent compared to the previous year. Even in relation to the year 2019 before the corona pandemic, this number would correspond to an increase of 23,8 percent. However, the first half of the year can further reinforce the consistency of the success in terms of passenger traffic: The airport was able to handle 2023 passengers in the first half of 3.287.130, which corresponds to an improvement of over 50 percent compared to the previous year 2022. Also in relation to the pre-Corona year 2019, this number would be an improvement, this number exceeds the corresponding number of 2019 by 25,8 percent, as the portal Ex-Yu Aviation News confirms.
