In the 2023 summer timetable, the low-cost airline Wizz Air is strengthening its presence at the Serbian capital's airport in Belgrade. The carrier will gradually add five additional routes, including a connection to Berlin.

The new routes announced by Wizz Air will be served for the first time in the period from July 31, 2023 to September 26, 2022. The destinations will kick off on July 31, 2023 Berlin-Brandenburg and Copenhagen. Both destinations are to be served four times a week with medium-haul Airbus A320 jets.

A day later, the first flights to Lisbon and Zakynthos will be operated from Belgrade. These two routes are each to be served twice a week with A320s. The Greek destination is a seasonal route and is tentatively only scheduled until September 23, 2023. Wizz Air has not yet decided on a possible extension – subject to corresponding demand.

From September 26, 2023, the low-cost airline will fly five times a week between Belgrade and Bergamo. It is currently planned that Wizz Air will serve this route on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday with Airbus A320 aircraft.
