The airline Swiss will appoint Benedikt Escher as a new network manager on February 1, 2021. The manager had previously worked for the carrier. The previous Head of Network Management, Michael Trestl, moved to the as Chief Commercial Officer at the beginning of the year Board member of the sister company Austrian Airlines.

Escher has been Head of Scheduling & Slot Management for the Swiss Lufthansa subsidiary since February 2019. He reports directly to Swiss-CCO Tamur Goudarzi Pour and within the Lufthansa Group to the Senior Vice President Network & Mobility Offer, Heiko Reitz. Before joining Swiss, Benedikt Escher worked for Edelweiss Air.
