A female passenger refused to wear a mask on a Ryanair flight from Ibiza to Bergamo. The situation escalated more and more, because the travelers became aggressive and also violent towards other passengers.

The incident, which was confirmed by Ryanair, took place on May 26, 2021. In the last few days, various videos posted by eyewitnesses have surfaced on social networks. Initially, some British media reported on the lady's behavior.

It is noticeable that the crew initially behaved cautiously and let the travelers rule. Flight attendants pass by and carry out the on-board service - just as if nothing was happening. Only later does the cabin crew intervene. The captain called for police assistance so that the woman was taken away by the executive at Bergamo Airport.

The incident occurred on Ryanair flight FR 8333, operated by the subsidiary Malta Air. The aircraft used was the Boeing 737-800 with the registration 9H-QBC. The Irish parent company explained that the machine could land normally in Bergamo and that all further steps were taken over by the police there.
