At the annual press conference, Anton Bodner and Christian Wörister presented the results of the 2022/23 financial year of Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel as well as the strategic plans for the coming years. Despite challenging economic conditions, the company achieved sales of over 60 million euros, the highest in its history. Particularly noteworthy is the profit after tax of 1,4 million euros and a record cash flow from operating activities of 20,04 million euros.

The 2023/24 winter season was a success despite meteorological challenges, with record season and day ticket sales. KitzSki was also named "World's Best Ski Resort 2024", which underlines the attractiveness of the ski resort.

In summer 2024, Bergbahn AG will invest more in ecological and sustainable infrastructure, including the construction of the new flow trail on the Fleckalm and the renovation of the alpine flower garden for the 40th anniversary. The planned projects include the Sonnenrast reservoir, the reuse of the old Fleckalm mountain station and the Fleckalm Garage with a combined parking garage and hotel complex.
