Berlin Airport is expanding “Siko mit Termin” further

Since March 1, 2023, Berlin-Brandenburg Airport has been offering a further 2.000 daily slots for security checks. These are available to passengers using the free reservation service.

In total, the “Siko with appointment” area offers a capacity for 6.000 passengers per day. Currently, between 25.000 and 30.000 passengers pass through the security checks at BER before their departure. In the current expansion stage, time slots are available for at least 20 percent of the daily departing passengers.

“The BER Runway has successfully established itself and is an integral part of what we have to offer at Berlin Brandenburg Airport. This allows passengers to determine the length of their stay on site themselves and thus travel with less stress. At the same time, the BER runway enables us to better control the processes before the security checks.
